Church Social Events

A number of events are organised throughout the year, for fellowship, fun and fund-raising!

These include the annual Summer Fete, the Family Bonfire and the Christmas Bazaar. In addition there have been Scarecrow trails, Easter Egg Hunts, Harvest Auctions, the occasional Quiz and Meals organised and while fund-raising has been the aim, having some fun and having a chance to get to know people better has been a bonus.

St John the Baptist Church Summer Fete 2017 was a great success

We have held 3 scarecrow competitions, here are a few entries from the 2017 competition

The annual Harvest Auction in the Hare & Hounds was a great fun evening raising money for St John's church & the village defibrillator appeal.
