Withington Village Green

A major achievement in the recent history of Withington was the Parish Council’s acquisition of the land in the centre of the village in 2007 to develop into a village green.

The village green is used for various events, including the Village Fete in the Summer and the Bonfire and Fireworks in November. It also serves as a playing field for football and other sports throughout the year.

The green is managed and maintained voluntarily by the Village Green Committee and is funded by the "Friends of the Green" details of both can be found on the Village Green "drop down menu"
